概要 Ionospheric data obtained by the European Incoherent Scatter (EISCAT) Svalbard radar (42m parabolic antenna) at Longyearbyen, Norway. The data recorded after 1999 are available. The data set mainly includes density, temperature, and velocity of plasma in the polar ionosphere at 80-1000km altitude.

利用方法 The EISCAT data are the intellectual property of the EISCAT Scientific Association. They may be freely used for the purpose of illustration for teaching and for non-commercial scientific research, provided that the source is acknowledged and to the extent justified by the non-commercial purpose to be achieved. Substantial use of these data should be discussed at an early stage with knowledgeable scientists within the EISCAT Scientific Association (e.g., Y. Ogawa (the data representative of Japan; yogawa [at] nipr.ac.jp)). An example of the acknowledgement statement is as follows: "EISCAT is an international association supported by research organisations in China (CRIRP), Finland (SA), France (CNRS, till end 2006), Germany (DFG), Japan (NIPR and STEL), Norway (NFR), Sweden (VR), and the United Kingdom (STFC)."
